Yourinformation.
What this site collects, what we use it for, and how to have it removed. Written to be read, not to be skipped.
What we collect
Only what you give us, plus a little about how you arrived.
- The Brand Assessment: your answers, your first name and your email address.
- A teardown request: your first name, email address, website address, what you sell and a revenue band.
- A brand review application: your name, email address, website, what you sell, a revenue band, where your clients come from and anything you write in the notes.
- A booking: the name, email address and time you enter in the calendar, which is run by Cal.com.
- How you arrived: the first page you opened, the site that referred you and any campaign tags in the link. This is kept in a cookie on your device for 90 days so we know which channel a booking came from.
- When you submit a form, our server also sees your IP address and browser type, as every website does.
What we use it for
- To send what you asked for: your assessment result, your teardown, or the details of your call.
- To follow up by email after an assessment or an application. These are a short series, not a newsletter, and each one has a link that stops them.
- To prepare for a call or a teardown, and to decide whether we are the right fit for you.
- To see which pages and channels bring people to the site, in total. This counting uses no cookies and does not identify you.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who handles it for us
A few services run parts of this site, and your information passes through them only to do that job.
- Netlify hosts the site. It also keeps a scrambled record of an email address that has asked us to stop emailing, so we don’t start again.
- Resend delivers our emails.
- Cal.com runs the booking calendar.
- Stripe takes payment from clients. We never see or store card details.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page visits without cookies.
- If we run advertising with Meta, we may send Meta a scrambled version of your email address and the action you took, so it can measure which ads led to a booking. A click from a Meta ad also sets a Meta cookie on your device.
How long we keep it
For as long as it is useful for the reason you gave it to us, and no longer. If you become a client, we keep the records a business has to keep. If you ask us to delete what we hold about you, we will.
Your choices
- Stop the emails: use the link at the bottom of any follow-up email.
- See, correct or delete what we hold about you: email contact@squidaxis.com from the address you used, and we’ll do it within 30 days.
- Cookies: you can clear or block them in your browser. The site works without them.
Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights over your information. Whatever they are, the email address above is the way to use them.
Changes
If what we collect or who handles it changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top is updated.
Questions about any of this: contact@squidaxis.com.
